Shot placement is important at Hyde Mountain, the par 3’s are not necessarily gifts, and the greens will require a keen touch to ensure favorable putting statistics. Alas, you may very well find yourself somewhat distracted by the panoramic vantage points you’ll witness.

Canoe Creek Golf Course offers a new look and a very rewarding golf experience. Dave Barr’s first Signature Course is a refreshing approach to design unlike any in the interior of British Columbia.

Featuring grass-style cart paths that blend with the natural feel of the course, Canoe Creek welcomes both walkers and riders. The fairways are framed by natural grasses that present the golfer with a very strong ‘British Isles’ feeling.

The unique layout allows the modern style player to bomb the ball off the tee and land those long second shots onto the greens. The course also sets up very well for the golfer wanting to play the old-fashioned bump-and-run game.

Pot bunkers are scattered strategically throughout the golf course; the greens are large and receptive with soft undulations. The new hybrid A4 bent grass provides the golfer with a putting surface that is excellent, fast and very true.
